Welcome to Alchemy! www.byalchemy.ca is operated by Alchemy (also known as Création Alchimie), a sole proprietorship (NEQ 2282605221), Saguenay, Quebec (“Alchemy”, “we”). By browsing www.byalchemy.ca or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Our store runs on the Shopify platform.

1. Orders

An order is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order (for example due to a pricing or stock error, or suspected fraud); in that case you will receive a full refund.

2. Made to order

Our items are produced individually after you buy them, by our partner workshops. Slight variations in colour, print placement or measurements (about 1 in / 2.5 cm) are normal and are not defects.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude taxes and shipping, which are added at checkout. We may change prices at any time, without affecting orders already confirmed.

4. Shipping, returns and refunds

5. Accuracy of information

We do our best to show our products accurately, but colours may vary by screen. We may correct any errors or omissions on the site.

6. Intellectual property

Alchemy’s designs, artwork, text and images belong to us and may not be reproduced or resold without written permission.

7. Use of the site

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose, or to try to compromise its security.

8. Feedback and reviews

By sending us reviews, photos or comments, you allow us to share them on our site and social media, credited with your first name or username. You can ask us to remove them at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount paid for the item concerned. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.

How we handle your information is described in our privacy policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Quebec and Canada.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the published version applies to orders placed after its date. Questions: contact@byalchemy.ca.

If the French and English versions differ, the French version prevails.
